Young people

Bots screen the CVs. Bots write the CVs. Who's actually meeting you?

Recently we listened to BBC Radio 5 Live and heard a jobseeker sum it up: “It is a bot to bot job application process.”
BBC Radio 5 Live, broadcast

The scale

715,000 people aged 16–24 were unemployed in June–August 2026 – a rate of 15.6%, up from 14.6% a year earlier.12

981,000 16–24-year-olds were not in education, employment or training (NEET) in April–June 2026.3

Alan Milburn's interim review for government says this is structural, not a personal failing: “the current architecture is itself the problem.”7

What young people say

81% of UK and Irish jobseekers were rejected without speaking to anyone at the company.4

59% worry about AI's impact on job security, and 73% feel anxious about their future careers.5

56% worry they don't have the skills, experience or qualifications employers want.6

Young people aren't short of talent. The system just can't see them. A CV and a keyword filter can't show drive, warmth or how someone thinks.

The PitchID fix

PitchID puts a QR code on your CV that opens a short, guided video of you. Recruiters see your energy and your story before they decide – no bot in between.

Meet the person, not the CV.

A short, guided video on your CV, so a recruiter meets the real you before they decide.
