Who we are

PitchID is operated by Pitch ID (Steve). For privacy questions or data requests, email steve@mychocolateshop.co.uk.

Your account and application

PitchID stores your name, email, consent date, CV, job details, talking points and recorded videos to provide your video cover letter. Your files and drafts are private to your account.

When you publish

Anyone with your published link or QR code can watch your recordings, see your name and role, download your CV and open any LinkedIn link you provide. Only publish information you want recruiters to see. Deleting a PitchID stops new access; downloaded copies cannot be recalled.

AI talking points

Your CV text and job description are processed by Lovable AI to generate talking points. Review and edit suggestions before recording. Do not include sensitive information that is not needed for your application.

Engagement and recruiter emails

We record profile views, video plays, QR scans and visit dates for candidate analytics. Recruiters can optionally leave an email, stored with a view event for the candidate. Providing an email does not currently send automated updates.

Storage and your choices

Lovable Cloud provides account and file storage. You can delete individual PitchIDs, or use “Delete my account and data” on your dashboard to remove everything.

How long we keep data

• Candidate videos and CVs: until you delete your account, or 12 months after your last login, whichever comes first.
• Recruiter emails: 12 months from when they were provided.
